Full Time Position: Café Cook / Back-up Cashier
Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Salary: $17.25 - $18.00 plus tips
Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cook/ Back-up Cashier to join our team. Candidate will have experience in food preparation and excellent customer service, ensuring great dining experience for our guests.

Duties:

• Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
• Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare menu for service
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner
• Serve food to customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
• Additional Duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• 1+ year experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Culinary training or certification is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Must have reliable transportation
• Flexible work schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Proficiency in using kitchen tools such as knives is helpful but not required
